Dear Los Angeles Stake Family,

We are writing to invite each of you to participate in a special effort over the next few months that we believe will strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ, deepen our commitment to the restored gospel, and unify our newly combined Los Angeles Stake family.

With President Russell M. Nelson's recent 100th birthday, we invite all stake members to join in a 100-day Book of Mormon reading challenge. While we celebrate this remarkable milestone in President Nelson's life, our primary focus and purpose for this initiative is to strengthen our faith in Jesus Christ through daily scripture study.

We encourage all stake members to prayerfully study and ponder the Book of Mormon daily for 100 days between now and January 12. This sacred book is a powerful tool that can bring us closer to our Heavenly Father and His Son, Jesus Christ. As we immerse ourselves in its teachings, we open our hearts to personal revelation and spiritual growth.
